If being lazy and collecting money off the government is such a great deal?

Why the hell are there so many homeless people, you think with all of these free hand outs they would be living in an apartment, playing xbox and eating Cheetos. Yet, I see them sleeping on the streets, wearing rags, and eating out of dumpsters. What gives? I thought our poor had an easy life in the US.
