Bad (almost dangerious) food at uncles house?

OK I have an uncle and every time I go to hisr house they serve the worst food imaginable. Not only does the taste almost make me gag, I am also worried about getting sick. They are VERY cheap and at times I feel like they may be getting spoiled food. They themselves have gotten sick from what they ate on several ocions. This is because they keep their food way longer than they should. I do not want to be rude yet I do not want to get sick either. Please help!
