What is it with "Twilight"?

Obviously you are oblivious to Twilight's fan base. It certainly isn't the fad of the month. Twilight will take longer than a year or five to fade away. The sequel is already in the works. And as far as vampires go, Anne Rice has her version, Stephenie has hers, each have unique qualities about them. A mythical creature has no one true interpretation does it? I have seen it twice and I will be seeing it again. As far as books being turned into movies, a movie can never bring to front the complexity of a character, or relationship the way a book can. But Twilight did a damn good job trying.
