Should they be able to make me do things?

my fre\ends are really mean and bossy. they think they can make me do anything. they think they can tell me what to Wear, do, what sports to play, and my least favorite. who i can have a crush on. i have liked this guys for months. they couldn't care less and said basically pick your friends, or pick your crush and you will have no friends. they sound really mean and actually are, but they are my friends i have known for years. they just got like this when we got into high school and they are really starting to piss me off. what should ido here?
