Cat ran away on Sims 2 Pets! ?

Okay, so there was a fire and my cat ran away! I didnt have a collar on her because she was fluffy and the collar looked ugly so I didnt have one XD. I got a phone call saying that someone found my pet and i clicked "yes" and then some random dog showed up that i have never seen before!!!! Ive been looking around to see if she comes back as a stray but not yet is has been 2 sim weeks and no sign of her!!!! Is there a cheat or something to teleport her back?
