New Xbox 360 feature?

Ok, I turned my Xbox today and decided to explore around the new "Xbox Experience" and when I went to Xbox 360 game collections I noticed right under my Gears of War 2 "Install to Hard Drive". Ok, if I install the game to my hard drive, will I still be able to play it IF I take it to lets say a friends house, or is there some copyright thing that completely destroys the next xbox that try's to play it. (thats an exaggeration)
