How do you stop protesters from coming to your house?

My wife works for Merck Pharmecutical but is only an admin and not involved in research. Animal activists have found out where we live and come out time to time to protest. We don't when they come out and it causes a disturbance in my neighborhood. The local police come just to maintain the peace but we would like this to stop for good. Any help is appreciated.
