How do you deal with a stubborn puppy?

You need to calmly but ertively walk your dog without stopping from your yard to the park without stopping (of course look for traffic). If your dog knows that you are confident she will follow you anywhere. You cannot be thinking any thoughts about her stopping or feeling sorry for her because you don't know what she is afraid of. All that you feel is energy sent down the leash to her. If you are confident and ertive then she will feel that and go. You might even try running from the house across the street - don't slow down; just go.
