Can i use a wireless router on one PC to connect to my main PC via another wireless router/modem?

The main PC runs windows vista, and has a wireless Belkin modem/router (ADSL2+ etc) i use that wireless for my xbox 360, PSP etc, but I now have another PC iv just setup that is running Linux Mint 8- Helena, and this PC can't seem to find my D-Link DI-524 wireless router. I just want the newer PC to find the main PC and connect through it. Any suggestions?
