Can I take a VCR tape somewhere to have it transferred to a DVD?

I have a VCR tape of me doing my one and only skydive that I would like to transfer to a DVD, as VCR's are becoming obsolete and I would like to be able to view this forever! I don't want to buy any special equipment, so is there a place I can take it to get this done (ex. Best Buy??)? Thanks.
